PFOL NEWS
Our recent book sale held on Saturday, May 9, earned a
total of $2,773. Many patrons found just the book they were looking for and had
a lovely time searching!
The Poetry Walks
season ends soon, May 31. Our more than usual number of Spring season dry days
may have added to everyone’s pleasure and ability to roam and read the
wonderful poems at Fish Park celebrating nature. Thank you to all who have
helped with this project.
The May meeting speaker, Baqui Kopelman, Executive Director of Vista Gardens in Bremerton, delighted the audience with his knowledge of and dedication to Vista Gardens. The Gardens have an interesting local history and are blooming right now, as only gardens bloom in the Springtime! Their website is https://vistagardens.org
