About Us

The Poulsbo Friends of the Library (PFOL) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization volunteer organization established in 1958. Our mission is to support the priorities, programs and activities of the Poulsbo Library. We contribute to the Poulsbo Library's growth and development through donations, used book sales and the efforts of our volunteers. PFOL also maintains an endowment fund to ensure the future of our local library.

You can help us by:

  • Donating your skills and time to help strengthen your Library.
  • Serving as a volunteer at special Library events.
  • Promoting the resources our Library brings to the community.
  • Volunteering at Friends of the Library book sales, which raise funds for equipment, materials and other library projects.

  • Summer Learning
  • Educational programs
  • Library equipment and fixtures
  • Addition of two small meeting rooms
