General Donations

The Poulsbo Friends of the Library appreciate your consideration. Through donations from people like you, the Friends have been able to greatly contribute to the use and advancement of our library. We provide financial support for programs, equipment and events that strengthen what the Poulsbo Library has to offer to the community.

We appreciate donations by check, cash or you might consider a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) directly which might reduce your tax liability. Check with your tax-advisor regarding how such opportunities might benefit you.

Book Donations

When the library is open, you may bring your book donations into the lower level of the library and place them on the provided carts.  Please do not leave boxes or bags of books outside the library. We do not accept books that are moldy, dirty, smelly, water stained, infected with insects, or that have broken spines, lots of underlining or margin notes. We have to pay to have these books recycled and we also have to pay to have boxes and crates that are left with the books recycled.
The volunteers' time is very valuable and should be spent sorting, pricing, and organizing the books for sales.
